Your Dermapen 4 session takes approximately 60 minutes. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment for comfort. Meso Glides are infused during the needling process and the session is completed with an HA sheet mask. Some temporary redness is normal and typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours. Your Results and Ongoing Course

- Book your complimentary skin consultation to assess your concerns, skin type, and goals before your first Dermapen treatment session
- Avoid using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or exfoliating acids for at least 5 to 7 days prior to your appointment to minimise post-treatment sensitivity
- Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before treatment, as tanned skin increases the risk of adverse reactions
- Inform your practitioner of all current medications, supplements, skincare products, and any skin conditions, recent procedures, or known sensitivities
- Arrive with clean, bare skin. Topical numbing cream will be applied by your practitioner at the clinic approximately 30 to 45 minutes before treatment begins
- Expect some redness, warmth, and mild swelling immediately after your session. This is a normal inflammatory response and typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours
- Use only gentle, fragrance-free skincare for 72 hours post-treatment. Avoid active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and vitamin C during this period
- Apply SPF 50 or above if heading outdoors, as the skin is temporarily more sensitive to UV exposure following micro-needling treatment
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, pools, and intense exercise for at least 48 hours to allow the skin barrier to fully recover and minimise infection risk
- Collagen remodelling continues for up to three months after each session. Most clients schedule their next treatment four to six weeks after their previous session

A Dermapen 4 treatment is $299 per session, which includes your full 60-minute treatment, Dermaceuticals Meso Glides, and HA sheet mask. Consultations are complimentary. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
A topical anaesthetic numbing cream is applied approximately 30 to 45 minutes before treatment to minimise discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a slight tingling. Some areas of the face, particularly around the forehead or nose, may feel more sensitive. Our practitioners adjust the needle depth and speed based on your comfort and skin response throughout the session.
